Lawn Seeding

One of the best ways to insure a thick stand of turf is to add seed. For lawns that are in good shape but need to be thicker, we over seed by performing a lawn aeration followed by spreading premium seed over the entire lawn.
For lawns that are damaged by disease, drought or insects we use a slit seeder to plant the grass seed at the proper depth and width to make a thick stand of grass.
The best time to seed is in the fall as the temperatures are cooler and there is normally enough moisture for the seed to germinate with minimal watering.
